A few questions for library school students (and ex- or prospective students)

How are you paying your way through your library/info course? (Career development loans? Funding? Parents?)

Are you working? Full/part-time?

How much debt do you think you'll be in by the time you graduate?

Ta!

To answer my own questions (in case anyone is interested...)

How are you paying your way through your library/info course?

My parents are lending me 3.5 grand tuition fees, I'm so glad as they'll let me pay back when I'm ready and without interest. Whew! I earn enough to cover mortgage and utilities, and my boyfriend pays our grocery bills on the promise that I'll do the same for him one day!

Are you working? Full/part-time?

Part time, shelving at the uni library, 16 hours a week. Very poorly paid, but can't complain!

How much debt do you think you'll be in by the time you graduate?

Well, the 3.5 grand, plus about 1000 overdraft...plus my undergrad student loan which just comes out of your wage...a lot of money really, at least I don't have to pay it off all at once.
